2025 DUCHENNE AWARENESS DAY

As World Duchenne Awareness Day arrives on September 7, 2025, “Family, the Heart of Care” serves as the theme for this year's observance. No matter how difficult the road is, there are always parents to protect them, siblings to accompany them, and relatives and friends to support them. Family is their first armor against disease.

This year, the WeCare Program will continue to work together with CORD, and once again accompany DMD families from Chongqing to attend the 14th China Rare Disease Summit.

The WeCare Program has always believed that the significance of World Duchenne Awareness Day is not just to make people "know about DMD", but more importantly, to make "seeing" a norm — to let more people see the perseverance of DMD families, and to enable every DMD family to step steadily toward a brighter future amid this attention and empathy.
